TRAINING

A well-educated dog learns to cope appropriately with everyday situations and communicate more clearly with their family. Training should always be adapted to age, temperament, previous experience and individual needs.

At Dog Friends we approach dog education through three complementary areas: private lessons, obedience and socialisation. Each area serves different goals while keeping the dog’s wellbeing and a balanced home life as the priority.

Types of dog-training lessons

Obediencia canina

Obedience

Communication, attention and response to cues, helping to create a safer, calmer and clearer relationship between dog and handler.

Socialización canina

Socialisation

Progressive learning that helps dogs relate appropriately to other dogs, people, environments and everyday stimuli while respecting their individual pace.

Education tailored to each dog

There is no single way to teach every dog. Age, previous history, motivation and environment all affect learning. Education should therefore be individual, progressive and understandable for both the dog and their family.
